FAQs

Do you take my insurance? How much does therapy cost?

I am considered an “out-of-network” provider for most insurances. While I don’t bill insurance directly,I can provide you a receipt for potential reimbursement. My professional fee for Individual sessions is $120 and couples sessions are $170.

How long will I be in therapy?

This depends on you and your goals. Many of my clients see me between 6-12 sessions, but sometimes clients come for fewer sessions or see me for a several years.

Do you do in-person or virtual therapy?

I offer virtual and in-person (as of May 2021) therapy.

Do you offer a sliding fee scale?

YES! I value access and equity to quality mental health care. If you’d like to discuss a sliding fee, please let me know.

Why did you become a therapist?

In short, I believe it plays to my innate strengths coupled with life experiences. I’ve personally benefited from therapy and I know the transformative effect it can have on your life.

What’s your style like?

I pride myself in tailoring my approach so as to maximize your experience. For individuals, I tend to use Solution-Focused Therapy. For couples, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy and draw on resources from the Gottman Institute.

Warm + Understanding + Humor + Practical = Me.

What kind of therapist are you?

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I have specialized training in seeing people as part of a system. Humans, by nature, are social beings; We don’t exist well in a bubble. When we are at our best, we feel connected and safe. My goal is to help you feel that way, either with yourself, your partner, or those you love.
